私は、1985年8月12日におきた日航123便の墜落事故についての調査を行っています。この調査はその事故についてのみでなく、この災害の余波と世界中の多くの人々の生活に与えた影響についても対象にしています。著書『日本の災害：日航123便の墜落事故に対する日本と世界の反応』(原題：Dealing with Disaster in Japan: Japanese and Global Responses to the Flight JL123 Air Crash)は、Routledge社より2011年に英文にて刊行される予定です。
私は現在、この事故に対する人々の考え方をもっと理解する為に、オンラインによる調査を行なっています。この研究活動に参加して頂くにあたっては、完全に自発的な行為としてお願いさせて頂くものであり、質問によってはお答え頂かなくても結構です。また、この調査は全て無記名方式となっています。
